Sample Master
The Sample Master is recognised by industry and textile universities and design colleges as the premier sample weaving machine.
The Sample Master principle is to use the jacquard technology not simply for complex jacquard designs but also for dobby patterns and 3D fabric engineering samples for technical fabrics and composites.
Designers can utilise their CAD design systems and download via USB their designs to the loom controller.
The Sample Master includes the following specifications:
- 1000mm standard width
- Flexible Rapier loom with 1344 Bonas Electronic Jacquard equipped with 1344 design hooks and controller.
- Dracup TS Series Intelligent Inverter Drive
- Crawl speed function
- Variable speeds range 10 picks per minute to 200ppm.
- 8 colour weft selection with creel and weft accumulators
- Eltex electronic stop motion
- Warp stop motion
- Cloth take up through variable speed unit (no change wheels required)
- The jacquard is mounted on the sample master and does not require an separate gantry
- Installation and training by Dracup
The Bonas controller has the following features:
- Microsoft PC Operating System
- 30GB Hard Disk Drive (Capable of storing 80 million picks of information).
- Large colour TFT LCD screen for improved clarity
- Touch screen to enhance navigation between menus
- Enhanced user friendly software with on-screen icons for ease of use
- Full size virtual keyboard for easier data entry
- USB enabled – Enabling data transfer via memory stick
