High Speed and extremely versatile
The Dracup HS2000 Computerised Pattern Maker is a horizontally end-mounted machine. The HS2000 is robustly designed for high speed use in conjunction with the very latest Rapier, Projectile and Air Jet weaving machines.
The Dracup HS2000 Computerised Pattern Maker operates on the double-lift open shed principle. With a capacity up to 128 hooks, in standard form, lifts can be generated from 60 to 90mm. The Dracup optional double-lift device increases this from 120 to 180mm.
Electronic Selection. The totally electronic selection mechanism is controlled by electro-magnets and selectors. The main head drive is by a durable con-rod which generates a linear lifting action to the ‘knife’ mechanism. Selectors are located within modules each holding 32 positions and driven by dedicated ASIC electronics.
Drive Systems. The Dracup HS2000 may be driven via mechanical linkage from the host weaving machine. Alternatively (and increasingly popular) it may be driven by a simple electronic servo motor neatly housed within the Dracup HS2000.
Synchronisation. Dracup Loom Controllers ensure that the HS2000 maintains synchronisation (with either type of drive) in both forward and reverse modes. This automatically eliminates faults in the fabric being woven when starting up the machine.
