Seaming/Fabric Joining Applications

As Dracup also manufacture weaving machines for this industry it is also fitting to supply an electronic selection system for them.

Endless belts can be a high cost item and and any errors or problems can lead to expensive loss of production. Reliability is essential.

The controller for the Dracup Electronic Selection system reads patterns created by the PPDS design software from NET. A library of patterns can be stored on the controller and recalled at anytime by the operator.

High Quality Carpet Weaving Applications

To prove that the Dracup Electronic Selection System can be supplied in almost any size and retrofit almost any weaving machine:- Dracup have fitted a unit onto a carpet weaving machine which has over one thousand ends and is over seventy years old.

Carpet designs created on the APSO system can be converted across very quickly with the extra addition of creating a sequence of designs to run consecutively. There is also an option for stopping the weaving machine at the end of the carpet.

This has removed the typical time of 3 to 5 days for creating complicated punch cards completely and introduced the possibility of quick sample weaving on old weaving machines.
