Advanced Selvedge Creation
Selvedge creation has taken a big step forward with the new advanced creation options that can create a better quality Selvedge far faster than ever before. This drastically reduces the amount of time taken in editing the design point-by-point in the design editor. In some cases it removes the need for editing completely. New advanced options include stitching down corners of letters and symbols, more control over stitching ends and, filling of weave between letters. Each design specification can have its own set of advanced options for individual design control.

Automatic Tubular & Terry Towel Design Creation
Simply by telling the software you wish to create a tubular or Terry design all the stringent formatting requirements are done for you. The appropriate weaves are included. All lettering and symbols are reshaped and placed in the correct pick positions quickly and automatically.

Improved Design Editor
A design can have its specification edited within the design editor with any changes having an instant effect on the design. Any aspect of the design specification can be changed after the design has been created. From the number of ends, ground weave etc. to the new advanced Selvedge creation options (if the design being edited is a Selvedge). Other designs can be appended to a design within the editor, even different sizes of designs.

Improved pattern maker programming and Loom Support
The introduction of the 600E an HS2000 electronic pattern maker and the new loom controllers brings with it the new scheduling and loom communication capabilities. Also Dracup (UK) has adopted the PC-Card (PCMCIA) S-RAM memory card instead of the old StarCard card. With the use of the PC-Card comes the high speed PC-Card drive, which can program a card in a few seconds. With the HS2000 controller RAM cards are replaced with the cheap and widely available 3½” floppy diskette. The new loom controllers can handle several designs on a card (up-to 30 at the moment) and weave them in sequence. Also with loom communications (dependant on loom model and manufacture) the pattern maker can stop the loom at the end of the design schedule or at the end of a particular design. All this is set-up with the download options of Selvcam.

Weave more than one design at once
It is possible to download more than one design to be woven side by side on the pattern maker with the Multi-Weave option. To make thing easier as well as more flexible download options have been simplified. All this using just the one pattern maker, which means less initial cost and less time with pattern maker maintenance and therefore lower running costs.
